Today, Benishek for Congress released a new TV ad, "Passion," that focuses on the negative impact Obamacare is having on small businesses in Northern Michigan. Mike Jankovich, the General Manager at Angeli Foods, a small family owned grocery store, discusses how the business is suffering as a result of the President's Health Care Law.

"Obamacare is hurting our business because it's hurting our people. Ultimately what is does is drives costs to the consumers. The Doc understands what we do. He understands the value of our employees and that when we're hurting them we're hurting our business," said Mike Jankovich, General Manager of Angeli Foods in Menominee, Michigan.

"As a doctor, I have been opposed to Obamacare from the start. It is bad medicine for America and bad medicine for small businesses, especially in Northern Michigan. Empowering small businesses to be job creators has been one of my top priorities, and employers are seeing firsthand how Obamacare is hurting them -- forcing some to reduce hours and workers. I will continue to work with employers and their employees on solutions to fix the problems caused by Obama and Nancy Pelosi's partisan law," said Dr. Benishek, a general surgeon from Iron Mountain.

Dr. Benishek is a lifelong native of Northern Michigan, having served the community as a general surgeon in the Upper Peninsula for 30 years. He also worked at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain aiding our veterans for two decades. He currently resides in Crystal Falls with his wife Judy.
